Jim Manley ARUA Paintings and Drawings Jim Manley was born in St. Helens, but has lived and worked in the coastal village of Killough in County Down, N.Ireland since 1970. Jim's work is usually concerned with the interaction of mankind and the natural world, and nowhere is this better exemplified than where land and sea meet. The work displayed on this website is loosely categorised :- 'Sea and Shore', 'Fauna and Flora' and 'Figures' 'Fauna and Flora' is the product of walking, observing and drawing in Ireland and to a lesser extent in other European countries. 'Sea and Shore' is about observing marine life and the pressures on it. 'Figures' is an interaction with the natural world along with ink and watercolour drawings of local happenings.
